Batch 2011[edit]

  1. Result recorded every 20 minutes.
  2. Pain scoring is done using VAS.
  3. The oral dose of Ibuprofen used in this experiment is 400 mg.
  4. The choice of a particular agent depends on pharmacologic characteristics.
  5. Synthetic drug with narcotic properties: tramadol.
  6. Overdosage of Paracetamol can use liver damage.
  7. Narcotic analgesic: (something that ends with -phine)

Batch 2010[edit]

  1. Result recorded every 20 minutes.
  2. NSAIDs work by preventing formation of prostaglandin.
  3. Subjects must not have history of allergic reaction to study drugs.
  4. Pain scoring is done using VAS.
  5. In emergencies, Ibuprofen via IM, and Paracetamol via anal route.
  6. NSAID with a high profile of antipyretic property: Paracetamol.
  7. The amount of water used in this experiment: 200 ml.
  8. Ages of subjects are between 20-40.
  9. The aim of the experiment is to understand analgesic response after non-narcotic analgesic administration.
