International Fun Festival
IFF is a full-day event organized and funded by BKPI every September for new students in the incoming batch of that year. IFF serves as an ice-breaker and an orientation. The goal of IFF is to make new students feel at home at campus and forge friendships with each other. In stark contrast to PPSMB, IFF is actually fun.
The new students are divided into groups of about 7 to 10. Each group is facilitated by two IFF committee members ("facilitators"). The facilitators are in charge of the students in their group and partake in many of the activities along with the students.
A committee is formed by the Social Department of BKPI. Recruitment is done specifically for organizing an IFF committee usually in the last block of the school year prior to the holidays (around July).
The IFF committee is organized into these groups:
- Modules/Games: Come up with games/activities and set them up.
- Consumption: Food and drinks.
- Publicity and Documentation: Promote the event and take pictures and make videos.
- Logistics and Equipment:
- Facilitators: In charge of and guide each group of new students around during IFF.
